SELKIRK Sure-Temp Roof Brace Kit is designed to stabilize chimneys that extend above the roof level, providing essential support against wind loads and preventing damage caused by static and sliding snow. This roof brace is i for chimneys that rise between 5 and 10 feet above the roof, where one brace kit should be installed at the midpoint. For chimneys taller than 10 feet, additional braces are : one kit placed 4 feet from the roof and another every 5 feet thereafter. The kit includes the roof brace itself but does not include the chimney or the top.
